City festival in Clausthal-Zellerfeld 2025

From Friday 20 June to Sunday 22 June, the mountain and university town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld, GLC Glücksburg Consulting AG/Tourist Information Oberharz and Kurbetriebsgesellschaft "Die Oberharzer" mbH, together with event partner Veranstaltungstechnik Master Music/Carsten Spötter, will be hosting the town festival in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

In 2025, the town will not only be celebrating the town festival, but also the 250th anniversary of Clausthal University of Technology and the FWT - Fachschule für Wirtschaft und Technik Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

The celebrations will be combined into a joint festival with music, demonstrations, stands and a variety of activities. The familiar venue on Marktkirchenplatz and Adolph-Roemer-Straße, which will then be closed to traffic, will be retained and supplemented by further special events organised by Clausthal University of Technology and the FWT.

What awaits you!

The city festival weekend starts on Friday with a musical kick-off. Saturday evening also offers the opportunity to meet, socialise and dance to live music from 7 pm.

On Sunday, the Oberharzer Bürgerfrühstück invites you to start the day: All interested residents and guests can enjoy a cosy get-together on the Marktkirchenplatz and have breakfast together. You can bring your own food and drinks or pre-order a ready-made breakfast package. Afterwards, at 11 a.m., the town festival service on the stage invites you to linger until the festival starts again with the club mile and music. The third day of the festival will also be combined with a Sunday open for business this year: from 1 pm, some of the neighbouring shops on Adolph-Roemer-Straße will open in addition to the club mile.

On Saturday and Sunday, Clausthal-Zellerfeld's clubs, institutions, businesses and shops will also be presenting themselves on Adolph-Roemer-Straße with games, activities, demonstrations and all kinds of culinary delights for young and old. The club mile is rounded off with a colourful stage programme at the market church.
