Upper Harz Lake and Summer Festival 2024
Look forward to games in the water and on land, tent festival, colourful mile in the Waldseebad Clausthal - an event for young and old! Summer in the Oberharz is cool! During your summer holiday in the Oberharz, the Oberharzer See- und Sommerfest awaits you in July 2024 at the Waldseebad Clausthal-Zellerfeld,
which belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Oberharzer Wasserregal a huge water and land programme for the whole family.
The programme
The colourful programme starts at 11.00 a.m. with water polo races, aqua paddlers for children, stand-up paddle boards, bouncy castle, bubble soccer, bungee run and many other games. Visitors can of course swim and splash around in the Waldseebad or soak up the sun from the shore with ice cream and lemonade. There is also plenty on offer on land: Delicacies for every taste as well as information and games at the stands on the colourful stand mile. The beach volleyball tournament and the family and company/friends trophy invite you to playfully test your strength.
The Upper Harz Lake and Summer Festival is organised by GLC Glücksburg Consulting AG in cooperation with the youth welfare service of the mountain and university town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld and the Clausthal Forestry Office. During the event, you can pick up a special Harzer Wandernadel stamp at the ticket office.
