1st Advent weekend: Christmas shift at the Upper Harz Mining Museum
The Upper Harz Mining Museum, together with the Upper Harz Tourist Information Office, invites you to the "Christmas Shift" on the first weekend of Advent - 29 November and 30 November - where guests can experience the buildings above and below ground as well as the mining industry in a Christmassy atmosphere. The highlight is the guided tours through the show mine, which is illuminated for Christmas.

2nd Advent weekend: Upper Harz Advent magic
Concerts, mulled wine, church services and much more: on the 2nd Advent weekend, from 5 to 7 December, the 2nd "Oberharzer Adventszauber" will take place in and around the Zellerfeld church of St. Salvatoris from Friday to Sunday. There will be a small "stall magic", i.e. various stands with food and drink in front of the church. Inside the church, there will be a small, but nice arts and crafts market to browse through. Here you are sure to find a nice gift or two for the festive season.

2nd Advent weekend: Christmas in the Biermünz vault
The Biermünze on the Kunsthandwerkerhof in Clausthal-Zellerfeld invites you to "Christmas in the Biermünzgewölbe" on the second weekend of Advent: In the cosy atmosphere of the restaurant, visitors can expect a little Christmas magic with mulled wine, bratwurst and Christmas sounds. Various exhibitors offer their home-made goods in the vault. On 6 and 7 December from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., you can feast and shop for Christmas. The neighbouring artisans also open their shops and studios until 5 pm.
3rd Advent weekend: Advent magic in the courtyard
Experience the Christmas spirit on 12 and 13 December in the festively decorated inner courtyard of the main building of Clausthal University of Technology (Adolph-Roemer-Straße 2a)! On Friday from 6pm to 10pm and Saturday from 12pm to 10pm, Clausthal-Zellerfeld clubs and societies invite you to enjoy mulled wine, punch, delicious treats and lovingly crafted souvenirs.
A special highlight: St Nicholas will visit at 2 pm on Saturday and bring a little surprise for all the children. Come along and enjoy the Advent season!
