Whizzing across the ice, pirouetting in circles or gliding along to the rhythm of the music - ice skating is a fun winter activity for young and old alike. This icy fun is also a must on your family holiday and in the Harz winter sports regions.
Near your holiday destination, there are several opportunities to let off steam on the ice, either individually or with the whole family:
In northern Bad Harzburg, there is an open-air ice rink near the Sole-Therme spa, which is open from November to February and turns into an ice disco on Saturdays. On the 800 square metre surface, large laps are made and various events are celebrated. There is an indoor ice rink in Braunlage, for example. The ice stadium offers curling and an ice disco every Wednesday and Saturday evening from 8 pm to 10 pm. The stadium is closed in summer.
