Winter fun in Altenau 2027
Family programme on the ski meadow, winter party in the market garden, torchlight hike and arts and crafts exhibition
In 2027, Altenau will once again be hosting family winter fun over the school holidays at the beginning of February. The market garden opens its doors again with its winter party from 29 January to 1 February 2027 from 2 pm to 9 pm. Get ready for some very special magic in the wintry Oberharz.
Guests can expect a varied programme including a winter torchlight hike. On Saturday and Sunday, you can also visit the "Altenauer" Eigenart arts and crafts exhibition in the Kurgastzentrum. The family fun on Sunday on the Rose ski meadow will be fun for young and old!

A wonderful winter party lies behind us. On Friday, 30 January, the winter party opened from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Altenau market garden and invited guests to enjoy a cosy get-together with wintery stalls and a DJ. On Saturday, 31 January, a torch-lit hike took place, which ended with an après-ski party in the cosy stall village below the church. One of the highlights was the winter fun on the Rose ski meadow on Sunday. Over 70 tobogganists took part in the tobogganing competition, which was offered for the first time; the 1st Altenau curling championship was also very popular. A visit from Olaf and Elsa rounded off the colourful programme. Food and drink and a good atmosphere were catered for outside the ski slope until 7 pm.
