28th AOK Cycling Experience Day 2026
"Car-free Innerstetal" - this is also the motto of the 28th AOK Cycling Experience Day, which will take place on 30 August 2026, from Wildemann via Lautenthal and Wolfshagen in the Harz Mountains to Langelsheim. On the entire cycling day, you can explore the Harz nature by bike, inline skates, roller skis or on foot on the almost 18-kilometre route from Wildemann via Lautenthal to Langelsheim and experience an extensive festival and event programme along the cycle route. The buses of line 831 (Goslar - Altenau) and line 832 (Goslar - Lautenthal) run in both directions according to the Sunday timetable. Bicycle transport is only possible to a limited extent depending on the capacity utilisation of the buses.
The participating towns have put together varied entertainment programmes and entice visitors with sports activities, outdoor pools and local attractions. In Wildemann, a colourful programme with live music, a giant AOK bouncy castle and information stands awaits all guests from 10 a.m. on the Schützenplatz at the entrance to the town. The gastronomy surprises with Harz delicacies for small and large appetites. There will also be refreshment stands in all locations for you to take a breather.
