28th AOK Cycling Experience Day 2026

“A cycling adventure for the whole family in the Innerstetal” – this is the theme of the 28th AOK Cycling Adventure Day, which will take place on Sunday 30 August 2026, running from Wildemann via Lautenthal and Wolfshagen im Harz to Langelsheim. Throughout the Cycling Experience Day, you can explore the Harz countryside by bike, on inline skates, roller skis or even on foot along the route stretching just under 18 kilometres from Wildemann via Lautenthal and on to Langelsheim, whilst enjoying an extensive programme of festivities and events along the cycle route. Buses on route 831 (Goslar – Altenau) and route 832 (Goslar – Lautenthal) will operate in both directions according to the Sunday timetable. Bicycles may only be carried subject to availability, depending on how full the buses are.

The participating towns have put together a varied programme of entertainment and are attracting visitors with sporting activities, outdoor swimming pools and local attractions. In Wildemann, a colourful programme awaits all guests from 10 am at the Schützenplatz at the entrance to the town, featuring live music from the Zackel Duo, the AOK giant bouncy castle and information stands. The food and drink stalls will delight visitors with Harz specialities to suit both small and large appetites. In addition, there are refreshment stalls in all the towns for when you need a breather.
