Opening of the 2027 hiking season
Every year, the hiking season in the Oberharz is officially opened at the end of March by the team from the Altenau Tourist Information Centre, the Harzklub e.V. Altenau branch association and the Kurbetriebsgesellschaft. In 2027, a special highlight awaits all hikers once again: the witches from Bruchberg start the season together with all hiking enthusiasts. There will also be a special Harzer Wandernadel stamp.
Participation in the hike and the season opening is free of charge.
