Fit and active in healthy mountain air at the Nordic active Cup in the Oberharz
We look forward to the Nordic aktiv Cup 2026: Nordic walking is an exercise option that knows no age restrictions and can have a positive effect on health. Practised as an endurance sport, it not only represents a real challenge in competitions, but is also a lot of fun.
With the Upper Harz Nordic Active Cup 2026, GLC Glücksburg Consulting AG, operator of the Upper Harz tourist information centres and tourism marketer for the region, is organising a series of six sporting competitions in all six towns in cooperation with the Altenau, Buntenbock, Sankt Andreasberg and Clausthal-Zellerfeld ski clubs, as well as the SV Viktoria Bad Grund and, for the first time, the Hohegeiß ski club.
Stay active
Every Nordic walker who takes part in five out of six events will receive a gold cup, those who take part in four events will receive a silver cup and those who take part in three events will receive a bronze cup. The cups will be ceremoniously awarded during the last Nordic Walking Challenge on 27 September 2026 in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
For the first time, Hohegeiß is also one of the organisers of the Nordic Walking aktiv Cup with the Hohegeiß Ski Club. All Cup runners will be able to discover a brand new walking area on three DSV-certified routes in 2026.
For all events of the Upper Harz Nordic active Cup 2026, every participant will receive a special Harz hiking pin stamp.

The entry fee includes a voucher for the Hohegeiß forest swimming pool as well as refreshments, stickers, medical service and a certificate on request. *The entry fee cannot be refunded in the event of non-participation.

Registration:
You can register in advance viawww.nsv-ski.de or at the start from 09:00 a.m. Please fill out the registration card legibly and completely with your address in block letters. Then go to the start table. You will receive your start card there against payment of the entry fee.
Entry fee:
Entry fee per participant: when registering online in advance €8.00 for adults, €4.00 for juniors (up to 16 years), €10.00 for adults and €5.00 for juniors (up to 16 years) when registering on the day of the event. The entry fee includes a certificate, medical service, refreshments and a free ticket for the summer toboggan run in Hahnenklee.
The entry fee will not be refunded in the event of non-participation.
