Upper Harz Nordic active Cup 2026
Fit and active in healthy mountain air at the Nordic active Cup in the Oberharz
We look forward to the Nordic aktiv Cup 2026: Nordic walking is an exercise option that knows no age restrictions and can have a positive effect on health. Practised as an endurance sport, it not only represents a real challenge in competitions, but is also a lot of fun.
With the Upper Harz Nordic Active Cup 2026, GLC Glücksburg Consulting AG, operator of the Upper Harz tourist information centres and tourism marketer for the region, is organising a series of six sporting competitions in all six towns in cooperation with the Altenau, Buntenbock, Sankt Andreasberg and Clausthal-Zellerfeld ski clubs, as well as the SV Viktoria Bad Grund and, for the first time, the Hohegeiß ski club.
Stay active
Every Nordic walker who takes part in five out of six events will receive a gold cup, those who take part in four events will receive a silver cup and those who take part in three events will receive a bronze cup. The cups will be ceremoniously awarded during the last Nordic Walking Challenge on 14 September 2025 in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
For the first time, Hohegeiß is also one of the organisers of the Nordic Walking aktiv Cup with the Hohegeiß Ski Club. In 2026, all Cup runners will be able to discover a brand new walking area on three DSV-certified routes.
For all events of the Upper Harz Nordic active Cup 2026, every participant will receive a special Harz hiking pin stamp.
