Nordic Walking in the Harz Mountains
Nordic walking enthusiasts get their money's worth in Clausthal-Zellerfeld and in the climatic health resort of Altenau in the Oberharz: The "DSV nordic aktiv Walking Zentrum Clausthal-Zellerfeld" has three routes with different profiles: an easy route over 5.9 km (71 metres in altitude), a medium-difficulty route over 8.6 km (178 metres in altitude) and a difficult route over 10.8 km (201 metres in altitude).
At the "DSV nordic aktiv Walking Zentrum Altenau", the Würzel tour over 4.7 km (114 metres in altitude), the Sparkassen tour over 8.6 km (227 metres in altitude) and the Fels-in-der-Brandung tour over 18.7 km (402 metres in altitude) await all walking enthusiasts. These routes are well signposted and lead you through the beautiful nature of the Oberharz. The route network in Clausthal-Zellerfeld and Altenau comprises a total of six routes with a total length of 57.4 km as well as a special route in Altenau.
Nordic Walking active Cup 2024
With the Oberharz Nordic Walking Active Cup 2024, GLC Glücksburg Consulting AG, operator of the Oebrharz tourist information centres and tourism marketer for the region, is organising a great series of events on the topic of Nordic walking in collaboration with the ski clubs.
