The Oberharz Guest Journal is published monthly with a current print run of 8,000 copies and is distributed free of charge to all tourist businesses and partners of the Oberharz Tourist Information Centre in the Oberharz region.

Winter activities in the Oberharz
In winter, when the unique Harz landscape is covered in a blanket of sparkling diamonds, the Upper Harz offers a wide variety of attractions. The Upper Harz is the centrepiece and also the highest region of the Harz, the highest mountain range in northern Germany. The towns of Altenau, Buntenbock, Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Sankt Andreasberg, Torfhaus, Schulenberg and Wildemann lie at an altitude of 380 to 928 metres, surrounded by beautiful forests, gently rolling hills and romantic valleys. Paw classification in the Oberharz

The classification is carried out exclusively as an addition to an existing DTV classification. This ensures that only quality-checked accommodation can receive a Pfoten classification.
