A supplementary puzzle booklet, ‘Forest Superheroes’, is now available for the interactive family walking trail ‘Forest Climate Trail’ around Buntenbock. Join the Brockenbande on an exciting 7-kilometre journey of discovery exploring the themes of the forest and climate, and solve the puzzles in the booklet like real forest detectives.

On Sunday 23 August, another event in the Nordic Walking Aktiv Cup will take place . For the first time, Hohegeiß is hosting this sporting series and invites participants to take part in three different walks around the mountain village, starting at 10 am.

On Friday 28 August, the Altenau Herb Experience Park is hosting a special culinary experience as part of the Harz Gourmet Days , under the theme ‘Garden Party of the Senses’.
